Sunday Morning @ 10:30am
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
“My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here (2 Cor, 5:17).
Here's why my whole life changed after coming to know Jesus Christ as my Lord. The old way of "thinking" was no longer. This was how I thought in the past! It was immoral, unhealthy and in disregard to the truth. Since God is the "Creator of all things" and He knew me even before I was born, this means' He had a plan for my existence on earth. Some how in the depths of my being I discovered the undeniable truth about God and what true meaning of life was about.
In the book of Proverbs it says; "there is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12).
I do not want the way that seems to be right... i want the way that is right! Why follow a path that leads to a dead end. Religion is not the right way, however a personal relationship with Jesus is the way.
If God had a plan for me; what was it and how can I ever discover it? So I set out to find it like it was lost treasure and then I discovered it.
In the book of Jeremiah 29:11-13 it says this... listen closely; "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
If God truly had a plan and purpose for my life than I wanted to know it. God's Word says; In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps (Proverbs 16:9). Prior to that verse (Proverbs 16:3), in same chapter it says; "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."
I prayed to God out loud! God I know longer want to do my own thing. That day I traded my will in (like a car) for His will and my life has never been the same since. It changed my thoughts, my direction, my passions and purpose and everything else to this day. I found the truth and believe it with all of my heart. God did something so deep in my heart and soul for a greater reason to live. Rise up to live today and believe God for a miracle. It's like I know that I know... that I know for certain Jesus is the Lord. He can do all things... and God's Word says that you can too (Phil. 4:13).
Philippians 1:6 says; being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Let Him be the Lord of your life!
Be blessed and know that He loves you!
